I've heard rumors floating around. I feel pretty good that Reitman and Akyroid will never allow this to happen. Ghostbusters is one of those sacred things.

I don't think it's that horrible of an idea. Look, I saw Ghostbusters again over Labor Day weekend. The movie was funny, but it isn't a sacred text. And Ghostbusters 2 was a massive letdown to the 18-year-old version of me.
I see nothing wrong with doing a remake/reboot. Paul Feig has made some funny movies. The idea of Kristen Wiig or Melissa McCarthy playing Ray, Peter or Egon's daughter doesn't offend me.
