I could see that. Ra's himself could've had him taken to the Lazarus Pits and revived to use against Oliver if he ever had to deal with him.

She has to become the Dinah Lance we know from the comics eventually. Still wonder if she'll get the sonic scream as a meta power.

this is the most popular theory. idk if you are familiar with the Jason Todd, Robin, resurrection story but it seems very familiar with what they may do with Tommy. i have no big issue story wise. my issue is the end game. will Tommy stay evil? will he die, AGAIN? itd be lame if he becomes good. theres just no good way to give the story closure.
as for thea. i really enjoy her character but i know im in the minority. i think what people hated about her will be gone now so maybe she will rub off on more people.
laurel still has a ways to go before she becomes believable. the actress just tries too hard. hopefully things get better when she meets wildcat.

Hopefully if they go this route, they will keep him "evil", and he will become Oliver's main nemesis/arch villain for the future.

I didn't care for her during the 1st season, but I thought liked her character by the end of last season. I think she'll be pretty good this season. I also think she'll be more believable being a trained killer after 3 to 6 months (or whatever the time period is from the finale to this next episode), than Laurel taking over as BC by the end of this season (if that is indeed when she takes up the BC mantle).

Another crazy theory to go along with Tommy being alive. What if Laurel never becomes BC and instead becomes a version of Manhunter (remember the Kate Spencer of the Arrow-verse was killed last season).
What if we dont see another Canary until Diggs daughter grows up? She was named after the first Canary, like in the comics (which admittedly is the only thing that even remotely supports this theory).
Maybe once the island flashbacks are over we get LOST style flash forwards with Oliver's son as GA (assuming its Connor) and Sara Diggle as BC. Its only like a 7 year age difference between the two so its not inconceivable.
EDIT: holy crap I just re-read all that and it sounds stupid even for me. Im gonna blame lack of sleep.

I could get on board with this. Just means Malcolm will have to die. Which would actually make sense. Tommy becomes the archnemesis, Malcolm dies and this now leaves Thea with a grudge and a reason to finally become speedy.

I'm definitely on the skeptic side and would rather him stay dead. But if he shows up in more flashbacks, all bets are off.

He's as good a suspect as any we have now. Thea and Malcolm were out of the country when it happened, Nyssa wouldnt have killed her after all the crap she went through to get Sara to come back to the LoA and Slade is currently locked up in the Supermax. That leaves only a few suspects. Eliminate people that dont use Bows and the list is even shorter.
Take into account that the person who shot Sara was using a voice changer. It was used not to hide his identity to Sara (because obviously she recognized them anyway) but to hide their identity from the viewer. Why would you need to do this for a character we havn't met before? The most likely explanation is that we've already met Sara's killer. It's a very short list of possible suspects and with Ras' al Ghul the Lazarus Pit coming into play has to be at least a small possibility.

Even in tonight episode diggle asks Oliver "you don't think it could be--" and Oliver makes a very dramatic "no" twice. I think that was a nod to Ra's and how much team Arrow fears him.

Oh I think its much more likely that it was Ras', I'm just saying that its not completely out of the realm of possibility that Tommy may have been brought back.

We can do this innernets, we can figure out the killer. It has to be a character we have already seen, or else, why use the voice masking.
Unless...they are going to introduce a character as a goodie, but they are secretly a badie, and dont want people going back and figuring it out.

That's a good point. Ra's is kinda a big deal. Sara's dopey reaction to who she saw doesn't indicate that it was Ra's. We know he's coming though so there's that.
I don't care what anyone has said. Tommy's back in flashbacks, Tommy is coming back*. He was Lazarus Pitted back to life by Ra's in order to get back at Merlyn for something. Tommy will be evil due to the crazy that the Lazarus Pit usually puts on resurectee's.
Tommy will be the Yin to Ollie's Wang.
*I've been wrong about pretty much every prediction I've made about stupid Arrow but I'm not letting that stop me now.
