Exactly! Glad to see you came around and now agree that it was Tommy. /thread
I think if it was Tommy her reaction wouldn't be to say confusingly "what are you doing here?", but would rather have been "HOLY CRAP, WTF ARE YOU DOING ALIVE!!!"

Isn't Thia suppose to become Cheshire?
I've seen it speculated, but I haven't seen where the showrunners have hinted at it.

Thea's middle name is Dearden...as in Mia Dearden (Speedy)

Solid start the the season, though Laurel is coming on a little too strong. That being said she is still much better than druggie alcoholic Laurel from last season.
I don't know shite about the comics so I'm not making any predictions, but I do agree with some that bringing Tommy back would be dumb.
I like the Thea/Merlin storyline, interesting to see how long that takes to come into play. Also, I thought she looked sexy with that new haircut.

Excellent show, hate it was cancelled. DC is stupid sometimes....er......a lot of the time recently?

DC could have pushed to keep it on the air. It was replaced by another DC show, a worse show, should have kept YJ on the air.

I was wondering if someone would pick up on that. Bravo to you sir.
YJ and Brave and the Bold were two really great shows. Unfortunately the success of these shows are based on toy sales and neither sold enough.

I think Sara's killer was either Thea or Sin.
I'm leaning toward Thea. I think Thea was put in a similar situation to Oliver in the flashback (Target is someone she knows). I think they are grooming Thea to become Cheshire from the comics. This makes even more sense given her relationship with Roy.

Love me some Vinnie Jones

ARROW: VINNIE JONES JOINS AS DC VILLAIN
British actor Vinnie Jones (Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand) is joining the mayhem over in Starling City as one of Arrow's famous DC Comic foes.
As Variety reports, Jones will be playing Danny “Brick” Brickwell - a ruthless gang leader who's called Brick because of all the times he's been shot but not killed (in the comics he has impenetrable Brick-like skin). The name Brickwell has been teased before on an earlier season of Arrow as one of the many names on Oliver's list.
Jones has signed on for a multi-episode arc, appearing in episodes 10, 11 and 12 of this season.
Brick has appeared in animated form before - on Young Justice and in a DC Nation short - but this will be his live-action debut.

damn youre quick. was just coming here to post this. i figured they would use the character eventually. very street driven character, fits perfectly with this universe. he has a "brick" type skin but im sure he will be a normal guy for this.

Looks like tonight we'll get two different sets of characters meeting that will probably be major for the upcoming season/series story arcs.
I can't wait to see the reaction Oliver has when he finally meets Malcolm face to face after thinking he's been dead for over a year. Then throw in the fact that he'll probably learn that not only is his arch-nemesis alive, but that he's been training his sister for the last 5 or so months. I've been waiting for this meeting ever since the end of last season.
And I guess we'll finally get the 1st meeting of Laurel & Ted Grant in this episode as well. Here is a sneak peak at their first meeting: LINK
ETA: At least I assume that Oliver finally meets Malcolm in this episode. I'm going to be sorely disappointed if they don't meet.

Having no comic knowledge, but knowing Ra's al Ghul will be an upcoming villain on the show, I was thinking he killed Sara.

Just watched the first two seasons and caught up on the show in the last two weeks.
Two points:
They killed off the wrong Lance sister. Laurel is the worst. Just an absolute drag on this show.
Also, was there ever talk of a Suicide Squad spinoff (before they announced the movie that will apparently take place in the filmverse)? Since Diggle barely had anything to do last season (outside of the Suicide Squad episode), I'd have thought a show with him and the SS would be thoroughly entertaining.
