Lets be honest with ourselves. Replacing Les is not realistic but who is?

Who is?

Obvious spots are Brick and Grimes

Would like to give Ron Cooper a call.

Is chavis untouchable?

ETA Moffet?? We look weak

Chavis needs to go. We shouldn't hold on to a DC that requires superior talent for his D to work.

I thought he was supposed one of the best S&C coaches in the country??? Definitely having some doubts on that one.

Brick

Yes.

Grimes

Yes. Obviously never should've been hired. I would even support a mid season change in this regard and try to get Mawae or Wilkerson to finish this year out. There is ZERO excuse for how bad the OL has played.

Abso-freaking-lutely! DBU took a substantial step back as soon as Coop went to the Bucs. One of the best asst coaches out there.

I personally dont think Chavis would look so bad if Brick is replaced. The Dline has been underperforming for a while.

No. Chavis is the most overrated/overpaid coordinator in CFB. 2009-2010 were decent years, 2011 was stellar, 2012-2013 were mediocre with some very subpar performances, and 2014 may prove to be one of the worst defenses in conference history.

Tell me how one "elite" season in six years renders a coach elite.

Tennessee didn't seem too sad to see him go, and they were keen to note chinks in his armor while he was still in the honeymon phase at LSU (bend but don't break, third and Chavis, etc).

If Cam can't run an offense that works, he's about as useful as tits on a steer. Good riddance. Don't know why he and Chavis get all of this love.

I think Cam can run an offense. I don't think he is, though.

Again, if he can't make Miles' offense work, and he can't convince Miles to run his, he is useless. There is no other way to say it. Our offense is putrid. We could pay a highschool coach $45K and get the same results.

Well, but I don't know that anyone can get Miles to run their offense. I'd be fine with running the same plays we're running now, if we had the personnel for them.

We have spread players running it. That's never gonna work.

Nobody but Henry and Wilson are safe. If we actually end up going 0-8 I don't know how a single assistant stays around.

And if Wilson wants to climb the coaching ladder, he's going to have to leave eventually to be a head coach or coordinator somewhere.

Either way, LSU hasn't improved from the previous season since 2010 to 2011. There will be tons of turnover, and there should be.

Then we need an OC that can make Miles' offense work. Whatever we do, we need to do it better. Miles was right about one thing during his interview; It's not just the scheme. The execution is shite. We have receivers get open, we have room and time in the pocket (occassionally). We were gaining 7-8 yards on first down against Auburn and couldn't get the last two. There's ample evidence of personnel, development, coordination, stregth and condition, and a host of other problems that aren't specific to Miles running an antiquated scheme. The OC isn't earning his check.

He's been a DB Coach at USF since 2013. As a season ticket holder I had high hopes when he arrived in Tampa. I haven't seen the development of the DB's at USF that he pulled off at LSU. In fact, the USF secondary has been borderline awful for the two seasons Cooper has spent here.

This. So much this. I can't believe how people still believe this guy is so elite. He has been average to terrible the majority of the last 15 years, with a season or two of elite defenses sprinkled in.

I think the one who definitely will leave is the one I don't want to go (Cam Cameron).

I can only assume Haley and Grimes will be encouraged to seek other opportunities.
