Copeland's Manhattan review

I went today to use my gift certificate. Let's start by saying, I'm glad I only came out of pocket 20 bucks for this crap. I ordered a ribeye ($31), which came with a side salad. I asked for bleu cheese. They didn't have it. They had cheddar bleu cheese. WTF is that? Maybe I should suggest that they make a swiss bleu cheese.
I ordered the steak rare. It was rare. But the quality of the meat wasn't good at all. I'm curious as to where they get their meat. When you charge 31 for a steak, it should be decent.
The salad was to disappointing to take a picture of. It had one wedge of a tomato and mix greens.
The person I went with got a Sirloin "eat healthy" lunch option and a glass of wine. I think it was dog food they sent out. It looked very depressing. I gave her some of mine to eat. She said it was a lot better.
2.6/10
Since I left disappointed, I needed to make myself feel better. I decided to get frozen yogurt from Tutti Fruiti. It was amazing. I got cake batter flavor with cheesecake bites, reese's, and peanut butter sauce. The only downfall was that they didn't have cinnamon toast crunch.

That's pretty much what my steak looked like when I had one there. It was just gray on the outside. No color at all. Just wasn't good. Should have had broccoli balls, warm crab claws and the blue cheese chopped salad and called it a day. My blue cheese didn't have cheddar in it, though.

And yet.. someone suggested Copeland's in the place of Ruth's to a poster yesterday.. and he, not being from here, made it an option.
NO. Just no.

There is literally no sear on that.

Damn I bet the steak at Golden Corral is better than that

That steak looks pretty gross
Should have went with cheesecake over that monstrosity.

How did they even get the meat to look like that?
Posted on 9/26/14 at 1:51 pm to MightyYat
At least they had a puddle of butter and parsley on top.

There is a Copelands in Manhattan ?
Posted on 9/26/14 at 1:52 pm to arseinclarse
the steak must be microwaved

That steak picture is about the most disgusting thing i've ever seen

That's a gross looking steak. I used to go to Boomtown Casino in Biloxi for the late night buffet back in the day and they sold $1 steaks. Those steaks looked much better than that.

I think it's relatively new. It's by New Orleans Hamburgers.

I don't know how Copeland's is still open, anywhere. The atmosphere is awful and cheap, as is the food.
2.6 / 10 is a generous score.

This. It feels like a cheesy chain.

It is. I forgot to mention the menu is 10 pgs!
The lady next to me got the small eggplant pirogue. It was about the size of my fist. I would be embarrassed to have brought any of the plates I saw today to a table.

Well Copeland's is complete garbage so not surprising.
I ate at Gattuso's today for the first time in a long time. Man they have really let the talent slip. One hot girl, lots of heifers.
