SDRL down to $9.12

I might just buy some for fun to buy and hold long term, thoughts? It just seems so cheap right now, and they have some positive factors going for them.

As soon as taxes are done, I'm going to pick up another position. In addition, I have all of the dividends I earn directed to purchase SDRL while it's low. I really like them long term- newer fleet and good contracts (PBR contract not withstanding) I think they'll make a nice recovery in the coming years, and one day, they'll start paying dividends again.

I thought $9-$10 would be the bottom but I'm tempted to wait and see if it keeps inching towards $8

Would ending the USW strike face any effect on SDRL?

I heard a rumor this morning that one of their drillships has a fire on it in the gulf. Not sure of the severity. The West Neptune

Not sure on that one. Trading this morning it's down another 50 cents to $8.62. Maybe we haven't seen the worst yet.

BUMP.

Pre-market trading is over $15/share! I'll be back to even at $16.36.

Bump.

Unless you think the company is going under, now can't be a bad time to buy. Touched $8.97/share a few minutes ago. Can always average down. This has got to be as good an opportunity in terms of long term return as any O&G stock out there....again, unless they go bankrupt.

I'm thinking I may pick up a few more shares soon. I'm not an expert on any of this, but from what I have read about the company, I can't imagine them going broke- seems like they'd get bought first.

In at 20. I watch this one daily and will reluctantly add to my position if it goes much lower.... Looks like it may be some time before the sector recovers.

Down 10% on VDE as well.

If you have confidence in the company, why not average down? Perhaps not today, as it seems prices may continue to dip, but aren't we all trying to buy low?
