Grew up watching that show with my dad. Him, Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston and Bassmasters every Saturday morning.

Met Bill Dance at Venice Marina right after LSU beat Tennessee during the "13 man" penalty. I saw his T hat and knew immediately who he was. I walked over there, of course wearing my LSU hat, and before I could say anything he said- "Hey, nice hat". I laughed, told him "Yes - I like it much better than your hat". Both got a good laugh out of it and as I was walking off I told him if you Tenn boys could learn to count to 11 you might win a few more games!!

I still watch his show regularly along with bassmasters on Saturdays.
I would love to fish the lakes and ponds that he films on. Never seen someone catch so many hogs. He catches at least 10 fish a week that id be thrilled to catch once a fishing season

His original show was "Outdoors with Bobby Meador and Bill Dance" at the WBRZ TV station in Baton Rouge. In his day, Old Bobby Meador was a fishing stud as well.

He was in Opryland Resort fishing in the river that runs through it. Security Guards were chasing him around. It was funny as hell
Team Grandma…When he first started fishing professionally, he could not find any sponsors so his grandma gave him money to go. He had fishing shirts and decals made up that said Team Grandma and wore them to tournaments

Met him with my little boy at BPS not too long ago. I live about 2-3 miles from him.
