So Monday after the news broke that AP was reinstated, I offered a guy Jordy Nelson and Pierre Thomas for AP and Steve Smith (10 team PPR). I am a Jamaal Charles owner and this guy needs a WR. He rejected the deal, but I didn't think it was overly unfair by any means.

At 7:30 this morning, same guy offers me AP and James Jones and CJ Spiller and Jordy Nelson. Spiller being arguably my #1 until Charles comes back.

I rejected this as I had seen the AP news via ESPN alert when I woke up this morning. I'm pretty sure this guy was hoping I hadn't seen it and was trying to screw me over big time.

If I had accepted the deal, would that have been something worth bringing to the commissioner's attention? I've never complained about anything regarding fantasy football to a league head, but this severely pisses me off, even now.

No. Its all about strategy. He was trying to catch you off-guard. Fair play.

I think it would've been your responsibility to be up to date regarding AP's status.

I agree. Part of fantasy is knowing whats going on. For example, i typically pass out last years Average Draft Pick cheat sheets at our live draft. Not my fault if someone doesn't read the date at the top.

Sort of sneaky but wouldn't complain about it

Its just amazing some of these threads. Another one stated he was upset about the point structure. Did he not study/read before the draft? Seriously....

It's pretty easy to visit Rotoworld before you click accept on a trade.

Depends. Did you think AP was really going to play after the Vikes reinstated him? Because if you didn't, you were the dick first. I mean the friggin governor was calling for his head as well as all of these sponsors backing out. AP was never playing this week, or anytime soon for that matter.

It would have been pretty fricked up on his part. I had a trade I sent last night pending to get AP. My buddy waited until I saw the news this AM and didn't accept the trade, knowing I sent it before the news broke.

You have shite friends.

If I were your commish I would laugh at you if you came to me with that weak shite. Know your shite before you accept a trade.
