re: Best "Risk" album - lpgreat1
Would you consider "American Idiot" to be a risk album (punk rock opera, band had been off the radar for over 5 years = possible nail in career coffin)??...

re: Advice/Suggestions...Pick #10, 1-pt PPR, 12 team snake....what to do???? - lpgreat1
Personally, if one of the top 5 receivers, most likely Hopkins or Green, is available, snag him first. Then do best available RB in Round 2. If not, I'd probably strategize for RB in Round 1, as there should be a few really strong PPR RBs available. Then, best available WR in Round 2. Key wo...

re: Deymarious Thomas for Hyde & Lockett PPR - lpgreat1
I think DT will have a decent to good year. Kubiak has really never had a prominent passing QB and #1 receivers have done well. I almost want to say that if Lockett gets return yards in your scoring system, do the deal. If not, pass on it for now....

re: 28 hrs of fantasy football news/projections on espn2 - lpgreat1
I've always found PPR to be a much easier format to draft and navigate through a season, as far as determining which players/positions are more impactful. But that's just me. To me, a larger number of relevant players allows for more of a "throw a dart anywhere on the board and pick who it land...

re: 28 hrs of fantasy football news/projections on espn2 - lpgreat1
PPR is a fine format for people who don't/can't spend a ton of time on research and absorbing analysis and projections. It's much simpler to draft players when catches are scored and develop a draft strategy, even though the scoring has kind of done that for you. Plus, more points and higher score...

Best Rap/Hip-Hop Albums of 2016 - lpgreat1
I'm looking for some new stuff to check out. I really liked the Chance and Schoolboy Q records. About to dig into Kanye's album today. What else should I check out along those lines?...

I actually 99% agree with OP. I could nitpick but that list closely mirrors mine. Not the "best" probably but I find myself going back to Revenge a lot. Just a fun easy listen....

re: The Future of the Republican Party - lpgreat1
Socially conservative Evangelicals are dwindling in number by the year. As the generations pass, people who vote according to their religious beliefs will slowly decrease in number. Think about it this way, a year ago, we had one of the most impactful socially liberal Supreme Court decisions ev...

The Future of the Republican Party - lpgreat1
American political parties have often been forced to change what they represent and their primary platforms in order to remain viable. It is clear that in the last 15 years or so, many of the core values of the American conservatism, adopted by the Republican Party, hurt the viability of the Part...

re: Is Gronk a reach at 4th overall? - lpgreat1
The TDs separate Gronk from the pack. If I recall correctly, he wasn't even top 5 in catches last year. I seem to think he was somewhere around 10th (72 catches, just don't recall the rank). The Brady suspension is going to hurt that number. It all depends on strategy. If you want an overall a...

Keeper Help - lpgreat1
10 team PPR league. 1 keeper selection from Round 4 on from last year's draft. Tom Brady in 11th round, currently being drafted early 9th round Danny Woodhead in 12th round, currently being drafted mid-6th round My initial thoughts were to keep Brady and draft someone late just to plug in for...

Effects of Cruz Non-Endorsement - lpgreat1
Cruz's failure to endorse Trump is no surprise, and could've been seen coming a mile away. First of all, why is the primary runner-up still holding his own rally the day after the delegate roll call? That should have clarified Ted's intentions in itself. Cruz blew up any public notion of part...

Antonio Brown in PPR - lpgreat1
Has there ever been more of a "sure thing" as 1st overall pick, or just in general, in recent years? Stats are ridiculous and have been consistent for three seasons now. Didn't take that much of a dive when Ben got hurt. Can do, and does, just about everything on the field. And he doesn't get ...

re: One day in Seattle - lpgreat1
Flying back from Seattle today from a 3 day work trip. I stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel on Olive and it was an easy walk down to the market/waterfront area. Ate at a great French restaurant on Monday right near the main entrance to the market and went to the original Starbucks across the street....
