why do all African Americans defend each other?

in regards to all the famous athletes in the news lately, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy, McDonald... why is it that every time I see a guy on twitter or TV, print, etc defending these guys they are always black. its like they always think the white man is out to get them and they have to stand up for each other, no matter what the crime. Ive heard many of them say they don't see whats wrong with what Rice did and Peterson and think they shouldn't have been suspended.
what am I missing here? Reminds me of OJ in the sense that they were rallying and partying when he got off and still defend him. Why?

I would not say "all" but maybe a "perceived majority"
Plenty of blacks on facebook that call it like it is "Wrong"
but yes, what we see on TV at times are black people rioting and defending other black people who they do not know personally, nor do they know the facts about why that person ended up "Dead". That doesn't seem to be a priority...Defend and protest!!! without facts

So let me get this straight. We don't trust the media when it comes to absolutely anything.......except their portrayal of "black America?"
