It would be very interesting to see how Goodell would handle that if it came to pass.

The liberal social justice warriors would stand behind him regardless because he is gay.

Is that the answer you wanted to hear?

Actually, this is a very provocative question - especially for the anarchists out there. Do gays get their cake and eat it too? Are gays immune from criminal law?

If anything, it would be in the gay players' best interests to stay in the closet should something like this happen. If a guy knocks out a random guy, it's a less severe punishment than "domestic abuse".

That little dude he was mouth kissing during the draft would become a media darling.

You think gay people don't get charged with assault?

Maybe he forgot Rice got away with the proverbial slap on the wrist from law enforcement. As immune from criminal law as "the gays"

It's a pretty bad thread, but it's still better than your average Rex thread.

This. You think they ever heard of Kwame Harris(ex 49'er lineman)?

Harris was jailed for 6 days , had hundreds hours of domestic violence counseling, Hundreds of dollars to a domestic abuse shelter & domestic abuse advocacy groups.

Domestic violence is domestic violence.

Interesting hypothetical IMO albeit far-fetched the one gay player in football beats up his boyfriend.
