KC has a tough matchup this week (@ DEN).

Others available:
GB v NYJ
MIA @ Buf
TB v STL
NO @ Cle
Den vs KC

Would you drop KC and pick up one of the above, or just ride it out with KC?

i dropped them.
they are playing Den, NE, and at SF then a bye in the next 5 weeks
They aren't a team i would want until week 7, but i'm not holding on to two defenses until then.

I was able to get the cardinals though so i had no problem dropping them.
Miami has a decent schedule over the next few weeks, i'd pick them up.

They looked bad against the Titans.

The Titans.

Do you like negative points? Cause you're gonna have -5 this weekend if you play them

Why would you ride it out with a shitty defense? Just play the match-ups each week. It's not like you have the Seahawks.

Drop 'em. They were bad last week before they lost Devito and Johnson. Secondary shaky as hell too.

DEN or TB sound like better plays to me.

They had a miracle year last season. It won't be repeated. In fact, they are probably bottom 15 defense this year. No need to even roster them.

I dropped them. Thanks to everyone for the input. Amazing the fall from grace from last year to this year. Drafted them late thinking I might have a good defense (knew they wouldn't be as good as last year but didn't expect them to be bad).

Ditto.

I wanted those De'Anthony Thomas kick returns, but I'm not crazy. I don't want the defense playing Denver. I'll pick KC back if Thomas starts playing and their schedule lightens up.

I picked up the Bucs this week. I know they aren't known for the special teams play, but with Shaun Hill not certain to play, it was too tempting.

This is what I'm doing. KC has lost too much.

I dropped them. I am going to rent the Redskins this week against the Jags...then find someone else on waivers next week. I didn't like any of the week 2 matchups for the other waiver D's

I had KC last year. They ended the season ranked #1 in fantasy iirc. But, it's because they had like 12 TDs or something on the sealant. They aren't a D that shuts people out like Seattle or San Fran. They give up yards and points. But they can score TDs, on both D and ST, and get sacks. They are a boom / bust D.

KC hit big last year in part because of a series of lucky big plays. That kind of production is hard for an entire defensive unit to carry from season to season. They aren't the same as some stud player who will just turn it around. This is why it's a mistake to use anything but your last or second to last pick on a defense.

KC was last year's hidden gem. It's time to stop living in the past and start looking for this year's defense to roll with, or just stream the position.

O dropped them for the Saints, I'm going with matchup play for defenses this year, might play a different one every week
