Poor guy never had a chance, killed on impact.

The dude was doing 90. No way that car could've reacted fast enough with him travelling that fast. No matter how close he was paying attention.

Everyone was driving on the wrong side of the road. That's a recipe for disaster.

Truth.
But, I don't see where the car driver could have done anything. The car driver shouldn't have even been mentioned in this case (but they are at fault in many car/motorcycle accidents). Someone coming at you at 97mph is almost impossible to react to.

Seems a bit excessive considering the speed of the bike and even the judge admitting that it was an accident and not dangerous driving.

I didn't read the whole article, but I remember the LiveLeak description noting that the car was in the wrong. Can someone explain how?

It was actually two wrongs in this situation. The driver turned in front of the bike but the bike was going far too fast. There's a lesson here that both guys on motorcycles and car need to take from this.
