How low could EXXI go?
With their leverage and a sustained drop in oil prices, theoretically zero.

Any more info on EXXI and any potential for it to make a comeback?

I have taken an arse beating on it since my last post in this thread. They are reporting earnings next Wednesday, so hopefully that helps, but I'm not feeling good about it.

It has 5-10% swings pretty often. Thinking about getting more. I got in at 7.64 but not sure if I want to risk putting more in.

No shite. I bought in at 7.575 last Friday and watched it go from up a good amount, to down a good amount, to barely in the green. All in a week. I went to buy more when it dipped below 7 this morning but I guess what I sold to buy more has a waiting period until the funds are available.

In in at ~$8. I've been up and down 20 times. I'm willing to double down if it hits $4, but that would put me in a huge concentration.

If your guts are steen enough, you should make money on this stock.

....or you might lose it all.

Will it(EXXI) eventually go back up but may take a year or two?

6.76 this morning. And I was wrong earlier, earnings are tomorrow after the bell. Last 4 earnings price movement has been bad.

Just bought a little more at 6.505. I am glutton for punishment.

I wouldn't publicize such a bad decision.

I just bought a little at $6.59. Enough to dance if it doubles but not enough to cry if I lose it all.

Bama fans why are y'all buying EXXI in the face of falling oil prices and what is guaranteed to be a bad earnings report?

They need something to hope for because they know their football team is going to get beat this weekend

EXXI has collars and other hedges that I'd hope they can live on for the next 6-12 months if prices continue to tumble, hopefully giving them enough time to weather the slump. Not sure what their actual hedging profile looks like though, it's somewhere in an investor presentation.

I dug deep and averaged down. Dug really deep. I sold at a slight gain at about $8.00. I guess I got tired of the entire mess, although I suspect I'll be kicking myself in another year or so.
