What is this all about? I dig shade as much as the next guy but not at the expense of ugly. Plus, that would be all up in my way.

I've got no problem with that.

beats a t-top that's always in the way and a bimini top that's in the way at the wrong times.

This is funny i was thinking one would be perfect in my front rod holders to shade the bow vs installing a forward bimini. I see no problem with it and is a cheap alternative for shade on the boat.

I was out a couple weeks ago and saw an aluminum flat boat with 3 of them. It was right after there was a thread about it on here. It made me laugh due to the coincidence.

my wife brings ours when she goes w me. It folds up and fits in a rod holder and doesn't get in the way. She lifts it when we get set up.

Shade in July & August = happy wife = happy life.

Better than t-top or bimini that gets in the way IMHO.

They're on sale at academy right now. 9ft ones too. Pretty good quality.

T-top doesn't get in the way unless you've got 5 people on the boat. Id rather stay home than fish with 4 other people.

Was that in hopedale?

Last time I fished there every VC aluminum flatboat had at least 1 pop up umbrella.

Brah. I saw you fight that T-top a couple of weeks ago! But you looked cool and you caught more fish than me.

T-tops on bay boats are out of control. Biminis suck, too.
