I think we need DE's more than any other position.

Assuming Hunter goes to the NFL and Rasco is a Sr., we will be pretty thin in 2015.

We have to keep the running backs we have committed which we should but that's something important in this class that people ignored bc of the 2 good backs we got in the 14 class.

Tashawn bower, Lewis neal, Sione teuhema, mj Patterson, deondre Clark already on the roster

+ Isaiah Washington committed

Maybe add Kyle Phillips OR terry beckner jr OR Arden key ... Not too bad depth wise.

Talent.

I think the LSU staff is a strong believer in letting the available talent dictate who they take rather than getting too caught up in position. Obviously they need to take at least 3 or 4 on the O/D Line every class, but they have a tendency to load up on positions based on what is available.

Receiver wasn't a big need in 2013, the 2014 class was expected to be loaded, and they signed quite a few of them anyway in 13. Adding another TE in last year's class late (Colin Jeter) made absolutely no sense from a needs stand point, but they must have seen something in him that made them offer.

Coming in it was all about OL and CB and I still think those are the 2 biggest areas of need.

We still need more OL, particularly another OT or 2. We've done well so far but need those last couple to really finish it off.

CB-look at the depth chart. After Robinson and White, we have Collins and basically 2 future S in Paris(though he may stick at CB with the depth we're building at S) and Battle. We needed at least 3 and we are gonna get them.

DE is a need but at this point it appears the staff only wants one more so they apparently think we are good

I do agree about LB but its looking like we are gonna have to go big next year. Just nothing really on the board outside of McGinnis unless some kids rise up or we reach

Paris is staying at CB. He wont be moving anywhere. He was a stud in the spring and looked like he was a veteran SEC CB. And I think hes not getting enough hype because he was with us in the spring and now its like we have all the "new" guys with Adams, LF, MD, Quinn, etc. But Paris has been fantastic and made a pretty easy transition to the college level during the spring.

I have / had high hopes for Paris and he has been even more impressive than I thought he could be. Hes going to play a lot this year.

We need OL and DL for the future. Weve got some nice pieces for the future at both lines in Pocic, Boutte, Clapp, etc on O and Bower, Neal, Bain, Clark, Teuhema, GG, etc. But we will be losing a lot of guys this season and next season and are gonna need some quality recruits to come in for the future.

Agree completely that OT is the main area of need. Jerry Tillery for 2015 and Willie Allen for '16 would solve the problem.

Getting Tillery would make me feel a lot better about the situation moving forward.

You could probably say LB every year. I always feel better if we have a lot of depth there. A lot of unproven guys at LB right now.

And I'm expecting Kwon to ball out this year and turn pro.

Agree with you about Paris but my thought is, how is he gonna compare at CB when To liver, Raymond, Lewis and Jackson are on campus? Hard to not look like the 4th best CB when the position depth looks like it does currently. I think he will be fine but its questionable. In the end he could end up a tweener which would be fine as well. If he earns the right to play then the staff will find where he works best

I'm basing the current depth on the fact that Battle is listed #5 on the chart and no one saw him playing CB. Simply, we are not very deep at CB. Hope we keep the top 3 healthy and Robinson keeps his grades in order

He will be ahead of all except KT. Paris is going to turn a lot of heads this year. He's a baller.

They are all great recruits as well. But Paris is gonna be more experienced and he was damn near a 5* recruit himself. Ahead of the others but KT.

Our biggest need is whatever we didn't get last year. The guys we recruit in 2015 are not going to replace Hunter and Rasco; they might replace the guys who replace Hunter and Rasco. Tashawn Bower, Lewis Neal, Deondre Clark, Sione Teuhema, and Michael Patterson will replace Hunter and Rasco.

You're missing whoever they sign in the 2016 class, for example Keion Joyner, Michael Divinity or even possibly Devin White.

Offensive Tackle is the obvious answer.
