Goodness. That's awesome!

We always just bake them. Lemon butter and orange slices. Salt and pepper

Cut into pieces about the size of your index finger, roll in yellow mustard and your favorite fish fry mix with black pepper added and then fry.

I have tried almost every way there is to cook them and that is far and away my favorite.

Lemon fish sushi is the tits! Any time it's on the menu I order it. Really good. Seems a crime to fry, though it probably is good that way too.

Definately do not do this, bake with pepper seasoning, or grill.

For the love of god don’t fry lemonfish, break out the grill, cut fish into 1” thick steaks or pieces, apply Italian dressing w/ some tonys and don’t over cook (meat should flake). You can also use a light teriyaki sauce instead of Italian dressing. If you want it plain use olive oil and tonys. You can squeeze a little bit of lemon, lime or orange juice on the fish. Can be done baked as well or on a boat I have done this in the microwave. Good stuff

I've cooked it on the grill with Italian dressing and Tonys's before. Sushi is awesome. Actually made a Cobia Tartar same method as tuna that was very good. I was looking for something a little more creative. Found a parmesean crusted Cobia recipe on the web that I am going to try tonight along with sushi and tartar.

In your opinion...

In my opinion, it is the BEST way to prepare it.

Best I ever had was grilled with sage and oregano, along with the usual salt and pepper. Just don't overcook it and it's going to be great no matter how you choose to season or cook.
