Anyone else rock this? The SO is out of town this weekend so I got down on an old time favorite my dad used to always make when mom was gone.

Can of chili + spaghetti + a handful of shredded cheddar cheese?

SO GOOD!

I saw this on Anthony Bourdain once, he looked totally freaked out by the whole experience. I sometimes eat red beans on spaghetti instead of rice, so I ain't judging.

People really are strange on here. Not the chili guy, the rest of you. Other than having different spices, how in the heck is chili on pasta any different than meatballs or any meatsauce.

Heck, in high school, I think the chili and the meat sauce were identical. Although both were terrible.

I've eaten chili on most anything, including spaghetti noodles, but canned chili is disgusting.

It's how they eat it in Cincinnati. Can chili only belongs in velveeta cheese and a can of rotel.

Hell yes. Chili noodles cheese and onions. Only time I don't mind beans in my chili.

Hell no on spaghetti noodles. I do like my chili on elbow noodles and topped with crushed Fritos, grated cheddar and chopped onions. Hybrid of chili mac and frito pie.

I know this is a big thing in parts of the Midwest, but it's not for me. I don't even put rice in my chili.

This is some strange Midwestern custom that seems foreign and un-American. I didn't even know it existed until I got to college and my buddy from Ohio told me about it and even then, I thought he was kidding for the longest time.

Only chili goes in chili, and chili only goes on corn chips, dammit!

My wife grew up on that crap. It's so sweet, it hardly qualifies as chili. It's spaghetti sauce with chili powder in it.

So good.

And, yes, I'm originally from Ohio.
