Your favorite lengthy songs?

And by lengthy I mean (whatever the frick you define as long goddammit ) . I know not a lot of people listen to that kind of stuff and it's understandable cause well....it's just fricking long. Doesn't help the fact that you mostly find those kinds of songs in the progressive genre, which generally speaking, is not that popular.


My personal favorite is Octavarium by Dream Theater. It's 23 minutes long and is IMO Jordan Rudess' best work outside of DOE from the Metropolis 2 album.

I totally just posted that out of random I was listening to Octavarium and it just so happened I didn't even look at the board when I posted the topic. Lucky me also to the fact that there just so happened to be a topic to describe one of impulsive convo points
