Serious Question About the St Louis Outrage

Where's the outrage over the daily black on black violent crimes in America? Why is it necessary for the black community to turn a blind eye to the thousands of crimes daily across the country in their community and get outraged over one white person shooting a black person?
I do not know if the shooting in St Louis was justified or not. We will watch it unfold in the court system and have to trust their decision at that time. However, 16 people were shot over the weekend in New Orleans, 7 of them in one drive-by shooting Sunday evening where two children were shot and one died. Where's the outrage over this?
If they put this much effort into addressing their own problems by removing the racial element out of the equation, the country would be much better off. This is where Obama missed the boat on his presidency. The black community needs a leader to step up front and center to tackle their largest issue that's last name isn't Jackson or Sharpton spewing hate as soon as they are on TV.

You can hear black people talk about it after almost every killing reported on tv. They don't have riots, but the most certainly bemoan the incidents of black on black crime and violent crime in general. There are several citywide black groups trying to deal with it.

The outrage you speak of is expressed by working with these young men and women who are at risk. That quiet work goes on everyday.
The black community has plenty of leaders, they just don't show up on TV every five seconds.

When will people stand up in their own communities and do something about this?
The police are damned if they do and damned if they don't. This case notwithstanding because we don't know all of the facts yet. For a race that's portrayed as being so oppressed blacks sure do commit a lot of crimes against each other.

I asked a black guy at work about this and his comment was that black folk didn't choose those two as "leaders," white people chose them for the black community. IDK, maybe some of our AA brethren can chime in on that statement.

It's all about racial politics. The real epidemic is black on black violence, but Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton can't line their pockets by hustling that.
I just saw where the Brown family had acquired the "services" of the same moron who so foolishly represented the Trayvon Martin family (Benjamin Bradley?). That retard struggles to put two sentences together, but at least he knows how to exacerbate racial animosity.
But to answer the OP's question again, if people really cared about this epidemic of senseless killing of this lack people, the race of the perpetrator (which is almost always black) would be a non-factor.

I already did. IMO I think some white people believe this for no other reason than they heard someone else say it. I don't watch MSNBC, CNN, or FOX so I don't know how much they appear on TV to discuss issues like these.
FWIW I've never heard another black person refer to AL Sharpton or Jesse Jackson as leader.
