It was brought up in the Peppermill thread. I have eaten breakfast there 3 or 4 times and it was slightly an older crowd, but not like they say it is for lunch and dinner.

Mr. Ed's on Live Oak near Bucktown is def. a nursing home type crowd on week nights. The fighting for parking spots at 5:15 is intense.

The Picaddilly scene can be pretty gray haired, especially the one I used to go to as a kid in Baton Rouge.

Oldest crowd I've ever seen at one time was at Barreca's on Metairie Rd. around 2003 or 2004. They had some cheap arse Sunday brunch or late afternoon special and we took my parents there. That was impressive.

Note: I'm not making fun of old people, just starting board chatter.

Pretty much any local sit down restaurant in Metairie is a hot spot for the old timers.

Cracker barrel

As a former employee, this is the correct answer.

One time, an older couple came in and asked if there was a senior citizen discount, my co-worker replied with a straight face: "I'm sorry, no. That kind of discount would put us out of business."

I got violently ill in that place the one and only time I went.

The Hi Nabor Deli is an old people joint because I used to see my mother in line there from time to time since she pretty much quit cooking.

She doesn't do Piccadilly anymore. To generic.

Mike Anderson's is one.

Just everyone remember one day we all will be hiding our own Easter eggs and dining at Cracker Barrel or Count's cafeteria. The only alternative to that is the big sleepy.

Don't knock old people, two of them got you here.
