Has anyone heard of a "Push Present"?

Talking with some female coworkers today, one mentioned a "push present." I had never heard of this so I asked for her to elaborate. Apparently, some women now expect a present for PUSHING A BABY OUT during child birth! I find it difficult to identify something more ridiculous.
Have any of you heard of this absurdity before?

There's only been a hundred threads on it

Do women still get a "push present" if they get an epidural or a c-section?

"Should've pulled" present if the chick expects more than the gift of life... Selfish.

No that's called the "Slip N Slide Present"

Yes, I've heard of it but I didn't expect one. Rather spend $ on all the baby stuff you think you need (most of which you'll soon find out is unnecessary too).

Divas ask for it and vagina whipped husbands give it to them.

That would be the sensible, fiscally responsible thing to do. Supposedly one of my coworkers bought his wife diamond earrings for a push present. He wasn't in the office today so I couldn't verify. I'm not sure how hard I would have laughed in my wife's face had she asked for one when our daughter was born.

So one thread in the last year....none in the last 6 months = "a hundred"?

I'm so glad my wife isn't going to be expecting one of these bullshite gifts. We've already discussed how stupid the shite is, and she agrees. Not that kids are in our immediate future anyway

She's asking you to push her down the stairs

Mother of 3 ... have only heard about it when the question was asked on here and as a mother, I think it's absurd. Maybe I'm old fashioned or just not with it as my kids are 22, 17 and 13 1/2. I needed nothing more than a healthy baby and my husband there.
eta: the poster whose wife wants a camera, I'd just get it ... that's a reasonable "us" gift. And yes, gender reveal parties are dumb too.
