We take action?

"Each decade we delay acting results in an added cost of dealing with the problem of an extra 40 percent," said Jason Furman, chairman of Obama's Council of Economic Advisers.
"We know way more than enough to justify acting today," Furman told reporters.

What can we do that will stop climate change?

Yeah because if America changes surely the rest of the world follows suit...

Wonder how an idiot figures that out

forecast a multibillion-dollar price tag for climate costs, such as property losses from storms, declining crop yields and soaring power bills during heatwaves.
LOL
So 1/50 of what Obamacare cost?

Whats the number? How much do we need to freeze the earth in its current climate?
Anyone?
Thats right.... we understand 0% of the universe, how it changes and so on, yet you think a little coal plant firing for ...again.... 0% of earth history has destroyed the planet.
Sheesh

How are these different that the soaring power bills from the war on energy?

This is the coolest summer I've experienced in my 36 years on Earth.
What do you diverting liberal hacks think us 313M people can do as a nation that will change the climate that the rest of the 7B on the face of earth won't frick up?

For comparison, what cost will we incur in our attempt to mitigate?

Coming from the guys who haven't adequately estimated the cost of, well, anything that they've proposed thus far.

Here's a little reminder of how "accurate" these all knowing bureaucrats are;

Better question.....
How much has the climate change discussion/ additional tax structure already cost us as a nation? The mere idea of someone paying 20k more for a Hybrid Camry on a vehicle that already gets 35mpg is asinine. The EPA should be abolished tomorrow, just like the IRS.

Some people will never come to the realization that fossil fuels are causing our ozone depletion.

I 100% reject the premise of man-made climate change. We have zero non-fabricated proof of it.
