Sorry if this has already been posted recently, but I thought you guys would appreciate the links below. Both are from nola.com. One rating the top 10 in-state players for 2015 and the other the top 15 for 2016.

We have a chance but I don't think its a very good one. Hope I'm wrong. He's been very tough to read. A&M is putting together a whale of a class and I wouldn't be surprised if he adds to it.

I just can't see us pulling Thomas at this point but would be a GREAT pick up to go along w/ Simmons.

Just seems like we can't get that other piece to go along with Simmons, was really hoping Thomas could be swayed.

tbh, we struggled last season as well. LSU missed on nearly all of their first choices until Robinson committed out of nowhere. Gray was also a nice surprise.

For what it's worth my dad used to work with his mom they maintained a keep in touch relationship as pretty good friends relationship come to find out my dad has had the inside scoop from the beginning . Tiger fans do not get your hopes up for elijah he is not LSU. It is down to Illinois, OK. State, and a instate school . Anthony hickey may have talked up LSU but I do believe he had a few choice words to say about Johnny Jones when speaking to elijah ! Move on to blackeney!

Meh... He didn't help his case any in the last two years.
Either way, Thomas is a lot closer to Mickey, so I don't think anything Hickey told him will hold more weight. I think he's going to end up with his buddy at A&M.

ehhh...CJJ tolerated alot of stuff for 2 years before he pulled the plug. Suspending him never worked. I don't think Hickey was a bad guy by all accounts...just never took things too seriously.

He definitely wasn't a bad guy. He just didn't understand that he had certain things he had to do in order to do the things he enjoyed...

He didn't like doing that stuff all that much. He was a guy who would do the community service stuff and I think he actually enjoyed that. It was everything besides that and basketball. He would spend 15 hours in the gym a day if he could... Just would rather not be in a classroom, study hall, or tutoring session.

Great. So we still get the last official before the fall signing period.
Imho, it's gonna come down to whether or not he has a legit offer to Kentucky, or if he wants to change his plans and sign in the spring (to hold out and see what Malik Newman does).
