100% disagree on the Tulane sentiment. If he was headed there, he'd have committed already.

per advocate, looks like he officially committed to Cinci. Does this mean we have bigger fish or did we just not get this one? hopefully LSU has some bigger fish we plan to land.

Seems like he would have been a good 4 year player

LSU is "in the mix" for two higher ranked SGs:

Blakney from Fla and Sampson from BR. Not a definite that they will get either guy's signature, but I imagine those two have been their focus on the recruiting trail for a while.

Brandon Sampson is a bigger fish and very good chance we land him.

Antonio Blakeney is a bigger fish and we have an official visit for him scheduled for the weekend we play Bama. We have a shot to land him.

Supposedly we added two walkons this year: Carleton Speight 6'4" 200 and Antonio Robinson 6'1" 170... Anyone know anything about them?

Think someone posted a highlight video on Speight a few weeks ago based on him tweeting about tryouts.

LAMAR PETERS outta NOLA is who we should be aiming for as opposed to Skylars Mays or any other PG's to replace Gray.

Sincerely, Peters has the trait that undoubtedly translates to the next level.... that is SPEED/QUICKNESS with the ball in his hands.

Add these up with excellent handles and he can
do the most important thing needed of a PG.....beat his man and open everybody up.

watch starting around 55 seconds.

If he and Mays were the same height it would be a no-brainer. In fact, give Peters a few inches and he'd be a 5 star in a year

If that were the case, we might have been recruiting him harder, but it isn't. Height is pretty important in basketball.

ETA - add those few inches and he wouldn't be as quick.

im sure we said that when we recruited 6'9 darnell lazare instead of 6'7 paul milsap

or as we watched demond 'tweety' carter walk off to Baylor

yada yada, we both know a PG's height is not as relevant as other positions.
