Was going to heat up the rest of my bone-in ribeye from last night for steak and eggs. I always over do it, what are some methods that have worked?

Pad of butter in a medium heat pan. Let the butter melt. Steak in for about 90 seconds. Spoon the butter over the steak. Should heat it up nicely without cooking it much more.

While technically this is correct , you left out the 5 minute boiling process immediately preceding the wave of microness

Whatever method you use I've found that it's better to cut the steak up while cold and then reheat the parts in oven, stove top or microwave. I have no idea why this works but it never fails to be better than reheating the whole steak.

Slice steak, melt butter in skillet, put slices in skillet on medium high heat. Best way to do it IMO.

I reheat it the same way I cooked it, in the microwave. It's also a good idea to put the ketchup in there with it. Nothing like a blistering hot pool of ketchup.

Italian dressing is only to marinate frozen chicken fingers. Ketchup is for steak.
