Homemade Mexican for a friend's birthday. Not used if the entire menu, but anything labelled a margarita party should be a good time

Menu:

New Chicken/Noodle Soup made with peppers from my garden.
New Fritatas made with peppers, leftover ground meat and onion.
New Potato Salad
Leftover Tuna Fish Salad
Leftover Pasta with Monjuni Sauce.

Made a major mistake when slicing and dicing the serrano peppers. Didn't wash my hands enough before popping my contact lenses in. My left eye is still burning.

I buy a big pack of disposable surgical gloves at Sam's. I use them when I'm fooling with peppers and raw meats to keep the crud from getting under my fingernails. I wear them when I eat crawfish, too. Keeps my eyes from burning if rub them. They're great to have around.

I'm going to do something with fish from the freezer and roast some asparagus. Not sure what kind of fish or what preparation. Maybe slow roasted salmon.

I've done that before. I wouldn't cook with any jalapeño peppers for the longest time after i had my first daughter in fear that I would accidentally get it in her mouth or eye or something.

Made a ground beef, zucchini, and salsa concoction Served over French bread

And beer of course

Leftover avocado/cucumber sushi for me. My fridge is still kind of empty, I haven't re-upped since being back from out of town

Don't know that I'm "a type", but I hate burning eyes. The gloves do not hinder my crawfish eating in any way. I get every smidgen of fat from that head.

My Mom uses them to avoid mussing her manicure.

Good evening Geauxt..

Grilled lamb meatballs served inside of pita bread. Meatballs seasoned with some onion, garlic, cumin, red pepper flakes, feta cheese and parsley. Top the meatballs inside of the pita with some San Marzano grape tomatoes, diced English cucumber and a sauce of Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, siracha and fresh mint.

Side of quinoa with chopped baby kale and shallots.

Dessert is going to be a watermelon, lime and ginger granita.

Coppola rose` to drink.

I just wanted to add that I clicked on this post, which was the last post in this thread. I was worried until I scrolled up.

And leftover tacos tonight.
