See that bull crap. People will cry about pursuits but so much of that could have been avoided of the officers could have pursued. It's just a necessary evil of law enforcement

Really? We should base policy on the off chance that the guy you don't pursue will go home, grab a rifle, and try to carjack someone on the interstate?

to the OT. Thread with video of cop legitimately acting a hero gets almost no discussion. If only he had killed a dog or shoved a drunk. I'm a pretty big critic of law enforcement, but it's wrong to only bash cops and ignore that they really do choose to put their lives on the line in a way most of us will never have to and certainly will never choose to.

I can't even begin to state how awesome that cop was. He flew in on his bike with gun drawn and stopped an active car jacking. He then forced the criminal to disarm at gun point. Then he HOLSTERED his freaking weapon to take the guy down by hand.
Oh, and BTW, for you cop haters out here: he used a choke hold and the guy didn't die. Go figure.
