Motorcycle cop did well. That car was going to get hijacked if he wasn't there.
Had the perp not driven that SUV into the ravine and turned the corner on that two track, he might have been able to get back up hill to that paved street. I guess he didn't see the corner.

Guy managed to steal the car and destroy that garage door only to get the car stuck after about 30 seconds. Dumbass.

I'm a pretty big critic of law enforcement, but it's wrong to only bash cops and ignore that they really do choose to put their lives on the line in a way most of us will never have to and certainly will never choose to.
