So, I'm at the beach and I tried VacayFoods.

I ordered online from home last night. When we checked in today, all of the groceries were put away, and all of the boxes removed.

My fridge was full of beer and water.

No tip. I never saw them. I would do it again 100 more times. It was that effortless. We went straight to the beach. No Publix trip to get out of the way first.

How did they get into your rental?

They are friendly with the property managers. If it's a private rental, or your home, they can deliver when you are there.

The prices were higher than at home, but not by much. Probably higher because of the higher overhead in the resort areas. I didn't compare it to local markets.

That is a nice service, but I'm one of those freaks that loves to hit the grocery store...an' I get excited about hittin' some strange....different store when I'm at the beach.

I think that's a very cool service. I'd use it to order pantry items, water, cold drinks etc...that take up space in the cart and that I'm not picky about. Would be a big help and cut the grocery time.

Agreed. I'd still have to pick meat and produce out myself.

Very cool idea. Why didn't I come up with that concept?

I would definitely use this for beer, water, drinks, snacks, maybe something for dinner for the first night since we will be tired from driving all day and won't want to hit the store.

Then after that go load up at the publix with everything else we need for the week.
