Freezer door left open overnight

My seven year old left the freezer open last night after getting a popsicle. I noticed it this morning and about half of my meat is thawed but still refrigerator cold.
The inside temp of the freezer was still showing 29 degrees. Should this be alright or feed the meat to the dog?

Tough to say.
Id probably convince myself it never fully thawed and close the door and go to work like nothing happened.

Thanks KR, that's what I wanted to hear. I was ready to make my boy eat very last bit of stag that was left. I now realize why they put locks on freezers.

Yup, I'd eat it. Many years ago I had thawed out a pack of deer sausage in the fridge. Came home from work to find the wrapper on the ground. My boxer opened the fridge himself and ate the entire pound and a half of meat. I would have been pissed if I weren't so impressed.

Refreeze it, things will be fine, this happens to all of us and then we put a lock or in my case attach a bungy cord and remind the popsicle eater that after you close the fridge door put the bungy cord on the handle – that makes sure its closed …

Just shut the freezer door back and send me your address, i will dispose of all unwanted meat appropriately
