I spilled beer on my laptop

It only got on the keyboard and wasn't too much, but definitely enough to do some damage (obviously). Yesterday, a few hours after the spill it was still working, but so,e characters were not working properly or not al all. For example, the g was a ; and stuff like that.
Today (the day after), no characters work at all but I can use the laptop fine with just the mouse.
Basically, is the entire keyboard fricked? Is there anything I can do to save it?

Chances are you just need to clean the underside. Youtube your model number and "breakdown" and they'll show you what you need to do to get the keyboard out.

It would be fortunate if all you need is a keyboard replacement (assuming the keyboard doesn't just need to be cleaned, as was stated above). A lot of laptops are built with some amount of spill resistance in the keyboard to reroute liquids to the sides of the frame, but don't exactly protect the keyboard itself. At worst, there is somewhat of a barrier under the keys and above the core components that sit under the keyboard.
The keyboard is usually an easy and relatively inexpensive replacement. Most laptop keyboards just need a small pry tool on the tabs to pop right out, and are connected by a single ribbon cable. They are so simplistic that you could probably just soak it in the sink and sit it in front of a fan for a day to dry. Safer would be a surface cleaning on the plastic keys with water and then douche (yes, douche) the underside with isopropyl alcohol (I've heard stories of alcohol actually reacting with the plastic keys but haven't personally experienced this).

My son spilled coffee on my laptop. After a few weeks, it will be time for another one, my friend.

Can I bring it to the geek squad and have them fix it?

Meh...some of the shops are better than others.
How old is it?

If you want to pay out the arse, sure. I'd bring it to a local shop. More likely to be honest with you about the extent of the damage, but they'll have a labor charge of about $50+ per hour + parts, which they'll dial down to a lower flat rate or just charge an hour minimum. It's something I'd fix for $20 + parts back in my computer repair business days, assuming it just needed a new keyboard. Most shops will just replace it, even if it only needs cleaning. Much less labor to replace it vs. clean it, and they can charge the same amount. What model is it?

I did the same thing but took it to a local Mac place, not the Apple Store, and they totally fixed it for $200. Mine wouldn't turn on and all of the keys were totally stuck, I thought it was ruined, but they took it all apart, dried it, cleaned all of the internal parts and got it to work with no data last or damage. I wanted to hug the people who worked there!

I have no idea what model number it is. All I know is its a toshiba, 4 years old, bought it for $400.
It is currently still working fine with the mouse. Just keyboard will not type at all anymore.
I know I could probably figure out what model number it is by looking at it, but it is currently upstairs in my toddlers room and she is taking a nap. No way am I risking waking the beast.

Not trying to be a smart-aleck, but if someone came into, the office or called me about this, I would not recommend it be repaired.
Maybe the beer only got to the kb and maybe you could fix it for a $100-$150 or so, but it could also be more trouble in the future.
If your SO is handy with tools, try a DIY cleanup. Most probably a YouTube on it out there.

If it's only the keyboard, I bet it's a <$20 part that can be replaced using a single screwdriver, if that.
Still waiting on the exact model number, but just googling "2010 Toshiba Laptops" gives me quite a few models, of course. Random google for a keyboard that fits a Satellite model from that time period brings me to a $15 keyboard fitting a range of models: LINK (NOTE: I have no way of knowing that this is the correct part and is just an example. IT IS NOT A PART RECOMMENDATION)
