Peche or Lilette for my anniversary?

Taking the wife to Nola for the first anniversary on Saturday. Peche can't get us in until 9:30, which is late for us. With all the Peche stroking that goes on here, I thought I'd ask for a comparison to these two given that Lilette can take us at 8:00, a much more reasonable time for us.
What say the FDB?

Lilette is a very nice spot for this type of dinner. Food was superb last time I went (a couple years ago, albeit). Price point is significantly higher though. Still, if that's not an issue I would choose Lilette over Peche @ 930 in this instance.

Sweet. Cancelling Peche now. I've been to Lilette before and I know it's good but Peche gets so much love here, I had to ask. Price is not a factor.

Coquette is similar and better then Lilette. IMO
They would be worthy of consideration.
I agree, both are better "Anniversary" spots then Peche.

For an anniversary, its Lilette. Speaking of Lilette, had a killer lunch there about 3 months ago sitting in that back courtyard, which I had no idea was even there. Once the weather turns nice again, check it out. Few bottles of rose and pretty much all the appetizers was one fine way to spend a day.

Yeah! It's a great spot that I've never seen or heard of before. Went for Valentines day last year and was pleasantly surprised.

I agree that Coquette is better than Lilette.

When is the last time you've been? In my experience over the past few years Coquette has steadily reversed their initial offering of great dishes of ample portion for a reasonable price. Last few times I've been I have left not as full, not as impressed and not as flush with cash.

Sorry your fat, a non-maven, and poor.

I went last March, and also last October. In March I did the chef's blind tasting and it was great.

Both are great, but Lilette > Coquette

I agree with Coquette over Lilette. The tasting menu with wine pairing is a great deal.
Lilette has never really stood out to me. The tables are sitting on top of the next table close to each other, France close, in most of the restaurant. The crab claws are very good though.
Gautreau's would be a good choice too.
I wouldn't do Peche for anything intimate.

Both restaurants exceeded expectations. Will post more when I'm not on my phone. Saw Arnold Schwarzenegger at lilette. No pics sorry.
