And while it wasn't as expensive as Nikniks Co Burger a po boy and a bottle of water was $17.53 before tip. I don't complain too much about cost but that's a bit on the high end.

It was good but had a ton of oregano which is a bit overwhelming. A little oregano goes a long way and fwiw I've never used oregano while cooking any roast beef. It really was way too much and yes I mentioned it, in a polite way. I did not request, nor was I looking for a gift card, discount, letter of apology, title to the building. She still got a nice tip.

I like Mahoneys but I should have gone to Guys.

Try Pioneer Woman's Italian drip roast beef with the Italian seasoning. It's the first one. She's got two. Delicious. Works great for game day subs for a crowd.

I don't mind oregano but it's like a green bell pepper. A very little goes a long way.

Glad to hear it wasn't the worst dining experience in your life.

Decent blog before it became overrated and her camera presence is really bad.

better hot dogs than any hot dog in chicago

funny how chicago does beef sandwiches better than new orleans and new orleans does hot dogs and sausages better than chicago.

The one time I ate there the roast beef was fatty and bland. Not impressed.

Well not a big fan of their RB. Also I know the regular RB poboy there is about $9, which is the norm. They also do not skimp on the poboys and they are very filling. There is no way I could finish a large poboy there. Guess he went with bottled water opposed to that good mineral enriched tap water. What's the going rate for a bottle water on magazine street $2,$3 ? Think I might go get a club for dinner. Chicken thighs, root beer glazed ham, and bacon. Da bomb.

Agreed. And good job not standing in line at Guy's. They're my second favorite poboy in the city but when they are busy it can take 45 minutes for your order to come out.
