We are being linked with a £20mm move for Giussepe Rossi...

I really like him, but he seems like a big risk injury wise for that kind of money...

No one credible has verified it, but I'm guessing with 2 weeks to go, we'll be linked with every striker in Europe..

So Moreno's been spotted taking his pictures outside of Melwood. As if we didn't need much more confirmation, but I'd guess it'll be announced later today.

I'd like to see him get a couple training sessions in and see action on Saturday, but that may be asking a lot

It would be asking a whole lot for us to schedule a last minute warm up game for Moreno a day before we open the season!

Well, since he only played a few senior matches with ManUre's senior team, I could let that slide...

I just think his knee concerns are too much for that kinda scratch...

God I hope we don't pay that much for someone with a quarter of a knee

Being reported by multiple sources: Lavezzi turned down PSG offer, PSG is furious and told him to hit the bricks. I love the transfer window, it's like CFB recruiting on crack. Oh and yes please if we can make this happen. At 29 he is fit as hell, pace, workrate, possession and the right attitude for this young group. After all the Eto talk this is at least a breath of fresh air, hope it's true.

Rossi? No way. The point is to have someone that can spell sturridfe and lead the line when sturridge has his inevitable month injury. Why spend that money on someone who will just sit next to sturridge on the training table?

That's why I'm not an eto fan in this regard. We need someone that can play 6-7 games in a 4 week period if sturridge is out.

Lavezzi

Hasn't looked the same player since he went to PSG. Whether that's just a temporary dip in form or that he just flattered to deceive in Italy...

I could live with that... he's actually a very good player.

I'd imagine he'd lower his wage demands to make the move..

I would've preferred someone more versatile like Remy but he'd prolly be one of the best options as far as leading the line when Sturridge isn't playing

Great analogy haha I never really paid much attention to transfer windows since they are soo dang hectic, but this year with LFC moving Suarez and having lots of money to spend, it got me into it. Its been a whirlwind. I'm just ready to start play though and see how everyone fits in BRs lineups.

I would have too, but if/when Sturridge can't play.. he can definitely lead the line...

it would have just been nice to have someone who could play as a wide forward, as well...

I guess they can play in a diamond together... I'm sure we'll see tons of looks from BR this year... so stoked!

Not that this impacts LFC in any way, but Suarez's 4-month ban is upheld. He is cleared to train, however.

True, but even more so than Cavani I think he just didn't fit with that squad. I would really like Lavezzi with BR and the type of talent we have on our team. It must be said that I have always liked that old Napoli squad and kind of have a soft spot for those players.
