So I take it guru you are not on the Eto train?

I've warmed up to the idea somewhat. Bringing him in for a year is better than not bringing anyone in. At the very least he bridges a gap between now and January.

I'm warming up to it but it's luke warm at best. I still think Bony is the guy between the likes of Cavani etc. and the expensive young crew that could be a really good fit for us.

Thats my thought on it. Bring in a striker for a year until Origi makes the move from Lille. Eto'o would fit that bill, but only if the price is low.

I almost added the caveat, that I know you hate the suggestion...

As long as he's still in Brazil (because once he leaves, it'll either be boom or bust), I think it's worthwhile... Like I said, he's a favorite so guess I'm biased..

So ready for the season. I think we're more balanced this season, and have players like Coutinho and Sturridge finally playing in their best positions

Brutal. But there is always the NBC Sports app if you're out and about.

New 'Pool fan and I figured I would not be official until I posted in the thread. Like many others, I did not care for soccer until the World Cup this year, but then for whatever reason, the sport finally "clicked" with me. Now I can't get enough and have been watching matches nonstop getting ready for the upcoming season while poring over transfer news to see who is coming in and going out.

Beyond ready for Sunday against Southampton! Walk on!
