I'm not frustrated at all. If we buy Schneiderlin in the summer and maybe another CB without selling anyone major I think we are the favorites next season.

Coquelin has allowed us to take the next step. Depth there and a better ball retainer can take us to the next level. Maybe another CF too. Welbeck's so wasteful. Not sure he's the answer

Welbeck has improved so much. Giroud has as well. Not sure attack is a priority. Finishing is all about confidence. Welbeck was really solid today. Giroud was stupendous.

It all stems from our midfield, which is on fire right now.

Giroud has been great. Call me crazy, but I still wish we could sign a world-class clinical striker.

I like Welbz. I really do. But I think he's expendable. He just can't finish.

I hope next season, our depth can pay off for us from the get-go.

Please tell me the otherworldly rashes of injuries are behind us ...

We've only had Welbeck for this season, and while I think his goal scoring is lacking right now, it's too early to say we need a replacement for him.

I don't think we need to replace Welbeck. But if Giroud goes down we will be in some trouble.

And I fully expect Welbeck to become more clinical. I just think another proven goal scorer at CF would be useful.

I'm not expecting to keep Theo, although I wish we would. Hopefully he gets a start soon.

Frustrating n because we drop two points against Liverpool, 1 against spurs. Lose to stoke, Swansea and man united. That could be six more points rt there if you draw those games.

While I like how the team looks now, I can still be mad how the team looked before. We all know Arsene shouldn't have waited til January to get cover for defense, add the fact if there weren't injuries to arteta, wilshere, flamini, and ramsey, coquelin wouldn't be on this team.

Perhaps he should have, but he didn't. What Wenger has done over the last 3 seasons in the transfer market and in terms of shaping this squad has been incredible. Has he been perfect? No, but he's been patient and stuck to his guns and principles and built the deepest and most balanced squad since the Invincibles.

Cazorla, Giroud, Sanchez, Ozil, Monreal, Chambers, Welbeck, Gabriel, Ospina, Debuchy, Podolski. Those have been his big money, first team signings since the great 8-2 United panic buy which yielded Arteta and Mertesacker along with several flops. Compare that transfer record to every other top team in the EPs in the same time frame, it's fricking impeccable. He may not do it as fast as we'd like, but it's no mere lip service when the man says he's waiting for the right quality player to become available before he buys

Next two games are incredibly large. United and City play each other next week, which means one or both with drop points, and then we play United the weekend after. Win at Burnley and against United and we might all but clinch a Top 3 or Top 2 spot.

Chelsea is still within distance but it's not likely, especially with a game in hand. But stranger things have happened.

I'm only worried about Burnley. We have to focus on what we can control. I'm just loving the way this team has come together. We are playing lights out right now.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

Oh, what could have been if it wasn't for that shite game at home against Monaco. Team has been playing great the past few months. Only 3 losses, 0 ties since the new year in all comps.

It was the third goal at home that killed us. In stoppage time..

2-1 would have been okay considering how poorly we played that night.

Something we haven't talked about that I think got overlooked Saturday was Wenger's brilliant tactics. He gets hammered so often for being 'tactically naive.'

He played Ramsey on the right of our attacking three, keeping Ozil in the hole and Santi in the B2B role. We defended superbly from the front, which was obvious early, when we kept turning Liverpool over and should've scored. They were absolutely lost.

It also kept Ozil and Cazorla in their strongest positions, and Ramsey did well on the right.

I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

I think it works because Ramsey is willing to do the defensive work when Bellerin goes forward.

Ramsey also did a great job of distributing from that role. We obviously lacked width on that side, but he and Bellerin really gave Moreno fits.

Highlights of U-21s yesterday.

Wilshere, Diaby, Arteta, Gnabry, and Bielik all featured.

Wilshere looked sharp with his touch. Diaby looked healthy and had a great assist. Gnabry looks quite good and may be another bargaining chip to drive Theo's price down (or drive him out :( ...). Bielik played CB and seems to have done fine.

Iwobi had a very nice hat trick. His movement was very intelligent. Promising stuff.

TEAM NEWS: @JackWilshere, @m8arteta and @AbouVDIABY available. @MatDebuchy also fit and ready #BFCvAFC

Crazy that none of those guys likely walk back into the squad. Perhaps Debuchy but Bellerin has been so, so good lately.

ETA: Bellerin ran a 4.41 40 M. That's 43.7 yards. Holy shite.

Not sure what Kosc's status is.

Out of curiosity, what are the rules behind allowing older rehabbing players play in U21?
