Also, can we all agree Chambers has to be moved centrally? I'm sure he will once Debuchy is back.

This guy is the future, though.

I'd really like Jenkinson back while Bellerin goes out on loan. If Bellerin develops into something I could easily see him going back to Barca. Though Jenkinson can't really dribble, he runs, and can deliver a good cross.

Speaking of, how do you pronounce "Bellerin"?

Is it Bell-er-in, Bel-ler-in, or I've even heard Bay-yer-een?

Anyone have any idea?

I think Jenko is better for the time being. I agree with this plan. Bellerin's passing needs to improve ASAP, and watching Jenko for West Ham he put in some marvelous crosses.

Chambers played some excellent balls Saturday. I would like Jenko back.

Chambers is great with the ball at his feet but he's a liability defending one v one on the wing. Has so much potential centrally though.

Why the love for Jenko all of a sudden? I've felt like the lone wolf at times saying I would like him back.

I've said it from the beginning. Chambers never really convinced me at RB, and I would have liked Jenkinson back when Debuchy went down the first time. Chambers is superb with the ball at his feet, but he's not the best athlete and I really love when the players who run without the ball (namely Walcott and Jenkinson) are in the side, because it creates space and passing opportunities for our players. I despise when we play with five no.10's with no one running.

I've been trying to find ways to fit Jenkinson back into the team all year. I desperately want him back in some capacity. Think he could still give a lot to the team, and I don't think it would have to be at RB.

The B52... Samurai Bendtner just scored a hat trick against the United States. The amount of shame this brings to me as an American is unspeakable.

And Poldi scored his first goal since he was loaned and Ozil wore the armband for a portion of the match.

Which means he passed Jurgen for Germany in goals scored

Which is exactly why this whole Sterling for Walcott swap I keep reading about doesn't appeal to me.

Sterling is a great footballer, but Walcott's running and finishing is something no one else in our squad offers.

I'm all for bringing Jenko back and moving Chambers permanently to the center as a utility player at DM and CB. I just don't know that Jenkinson will play barring an injury crisis

Next year's depth

GK: Opsina, Szcz
LB: Monreal, Gibbs
LCB: Kosc, Gabriel
RCB: Per, Chambers (all for starting Gabriel over Per, though)
RB: Debuchy, Bellerin, Jenkinson
DM: Coq, Arteta, Chambers
CM: Santi, Ramsey, Jack
AM: Ozil, Rosicky
LW: Alexis, Ox
CF: Giroud, Welbeck
RW: Welbeck, Theo, Ox, Gnabry

Hopefully we buy Schneiderlin in the transfer window.

Man I hope Arsenal gets Aranguiz. He is a star in the making. I would finally adopt an EPL team.

Diaby, Arteta, Debuchy and Wilshere all played in a match against Brentford.

quote:

Wilshere gave the Gunners an early lead with a delicate finish before setting up Daniel Crowley for a second. Alex Iwobi then struck twice at the end of the first half to give Arsenal a comfortable lead going into the break.

Arteta, Wilshere and Diaby were withdrawn at half-time as planned, while Debuchy and Flamini played an hour on a valuable afternoon at London Colney.
FIRST HALF

The friendly was a first chance for Arsène Wenger’s men to regain match fitness after spells on the sidelines, and they started strongly.

Flamini latched on to Diaby’s lay-off and powered a deflected strike towards goal. Jack Bonham could only parry it as far as Wilshere who shifted the ball on to his left foot and curled into the top corner.

Wilshere then played a part in Arsenal’s second, too. The midfielder played a quick one-two on the edge of the box with Crowley and the teenager fired under Bonham to double the hosts’ advantage.
