why hasn't any business/restaurant incorporated it into their product except taco bell?

Pringles are the best, IMO.

Yes, you are right. I put doritos on my boring turkey sandwich when I was in school. I loved the crunch. I don't do it anymore.

And while we're at it, did anyone else shove cheetos into Peanut Butter sandwiches as a kid? It only works if there's no jelly on the sandwich, but the weird combo of crunchy cheesy flavor and peanut butter works.

I dig the Fritos in the tacos/burritos. But regular chips on a sandwich....no thanks.

If memory serves me correctly, Bobby Flay got a trademark for chips on a hamburger. And he is pretty aggressive in enforcing it.

Yeah, "crunchified" on his burgers are pretty tasty. There's a burger palace here in DC

I guess because sandwich places usually sell chips so the customer can, ya know, throw the chips on the sandwich themselves. At least that's what I do. Otherwise, selling the sandwich with the chips already added seems like a gimmick to me.

I like classic Lay's chips on a tuna sandwich, but that's about it for me.

You can get homemade chips added to your sandwich at Which Which.

I've never gotten the thrill from adding potato chips to a sandwich. If you don't eat it quickly, they get limp and yucky. I think I've tried it a few times with Lays in my first life.
I think Nacho Doritos are the worst chip in the universe. The smell always reminded me of throw up. In fact, most Doritos are awful. I had some of the throwback taco flavored and the seasoning tasted okay, but the chip is awful.

I much prefer to simply take a bite of my sandwich then crunch a chip right after. I've tried putting chips directly between the two pieces of bread before and I find it makes the sandwich taste too dry.
