Romantic dinner spots in Austin?

Taking the wife (no pics) to the Austin area this weekend for her birthday. Any recommendations on a restaurant we should hit up? Something with a view of the lake or a river would be preferred. TIA.

No lake, but fun is Shady Grove if you want a relaxed place that offers music sometimes.

Try Olive and June...won't satisfy your "water view" requirement though.

I think the closest you could get to having all of those things is Trio at the Four Seasons.

I ate at sway on s 1st st last weekend and loved it. No water views and ridiculous valet parking.

Hudsons on the bend, the menu for that place is absolutely ridiculous.

Congress is very romantic and very good food too. It's downtown so no water views though.
