This has to be one of the greatest shows ever created. Rewatching it has helped appreciate it even more. With netflix, I can know watch all the episodes that I missed from the 90s, lol.

I'm finishing up season three. Before I couldn't see it, but Mulder and Scully were really, really close. In a couple episodes, you notice that Scully becomes jealous of another women. But the writers never really went over the top with deep long stares into each other's eyes, but I now see how close they really were. There were so many episodes in which they pretty much laid down their life for one another.

Kumail Nanjiani has a cool podcast he's doing on The X-Files called The X-Files Files. He and a guest discuss different episodes

My only issue with x-files is how spoiled we have become with HDTV and high production quality.

I'm rewatching it, too; also nearing the end of Season 3. I'd forgotten how funny Mulder's subtle one-liners were...

The monster of the week episodes were always great but the overall main story kind of jumped the shark IMO after the first few seasons. Still fun to watch, though.

Episode 2 of Season 4 titled "Home" is my favorite X Files episode of all time. You should post here after you watch that one.

Mulder & Sculley not hooking up was one of the greatest non-shark jumps of all time.

Kudos to Chris Carter.

I drifted away from it after the first movie. Then I saw where Mulder and Scully were replaced and really had no interest in going back. Now I'm considering rewatching it.

Does it have an ending? Is there a finale that ties up most of the storyline? No spoilers please.

I was watching it while in college. Needless to say I didn't keep up with it very well and we didn't have DVR back then. I'm actually able to piece together the puzzle a lot better now that I'm older.

The most disturbing hour of tv ever and I don't think I have seen anything as disturbing since.

A huge X-Files fan but I don't think I could watch that episode again. Yeah, I know. (())
