C'mon, mon. It isn't like there is a huge difference. Both serve basic seafood.

Their BBQ shrimp are great when they don't overcook them

What the hell? Seemed like a reasonable point to me.
I would only go to Felix's for raw oysters. I likely wouldn't look for fried seafood in the quarter, but if push came to shove and I needed to so so, I'd probably say deanies too.

i think their fried shrimp platter is pretty good and i've never had bad or small oysters there. why people think deanie's is terrible i dont know. i've never had a bad meal there. i cant say the same for felix's.

Both are basic from my experience. Felix's for oysters

Not the greatest ratings for Ramoulades from what I see online.

Remoulade would be my choice...oysters arnaud and fried soft shell crab. Shrimp arnaud on the side.

BBQ shrimp at Deanie's are my fav. Felix's does a better chargrilled oyster however.

Soon Mr. Ed's will be open and we will have a good quality place to send people looking for this kind of food in the quarter.

you might want to look into Bourbon House too
