The shite show is now in full force... You had to know if he sued, this is the angle he would go. Show hypocrisy amongst the league and owners.

Dude is batshit crazy and just wants to watch the world burn

quote:

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s team of lawyers has hired four private investigation firms to dig up dirt on the NBA’s former and current commissioners and its 29 other owners, a person familiar with Sterling’s legal strategy said.
Investigators were given a six-figure budget over the next 30 days to examine the league’s finances, allegations of previous discriminatory conduct and compensation to past Commissioner David Stern and current Commissioner Adam Silver, said the person who spoke to The Associated Press on Thursday night on condition of anonymity. The person wasn’t authorized to talk publicly.
The person said the investigators also are looking into whether other owners made any off-color jokes, or racist or sexist remarks.
“The gloves are off, as they say,” the person said. “Have them dig up all the dirt they can find.”

If this became a reality TV show it would be the highest rated show on television. As long as he is investigating the other owners he should also investigate some of the more out spoken players as well.

I'm surprised he's not... Although as others pointed out, and I somewhat disagree, his rules of conduct are different in signing on to be a franchise owner than the players.

I know it's apples to oranges comparing the owners to the players, but I am sure he could find plenty of evidence on the hypocritical nature of many of the players.

He is old. Completely loaded. Has nothing left to lose. He is going all in and I love it. Not defending his original actions that got him in this mess. But this shite is awesome.

How's that?Every compnay that I know of has codes of conduct. Do you think a franchise owner of a Mcdonalds has a more lenient or stricter code of conuct than his employees?

Does the owner lose his franchise if he gets popped for a dui? Or recorded illegally making prejudiced statements?

There's dirt out there but there's a question as to how damaging some of that could be.

For instance, Michael Jordan's notorious for being a degenerate gambler and poonhound. You'd have to find something really good to get him, such as proof of the long-standing rumor that his mid-90s retirement was a suspension by the NBA for gambling on games.

Yes. The rules governing behavior for owners are much less strict.

But I thought he was happy to walk away with $2 billion becuase he was only a businessman and only cared about the money?

Gambling on games is one of the few explicit reasons an owner is allowed to be removed from ownership. Would be fun if he found proof.

I figured thats what he would do. Take his $2 billion and then burn the league to the ground. You can guarantee that other owners have said/written/emailed way worse that what he said. The tops targets will be Orlando & Brooklyn owners.
