He won't even be able to bring it up during legal discovery. There are relevancy limits in depositions

I said in one of the very first posts concerning this ,that Sterling knows where all the dead bodies are and know this is gonna get good. I bet the NBA Commish is getting an ear full from some very rich men!

this is true but courts often allow "fishing" especially if the one who is fishing will pay the costs.
the standard ( I believe in most/ all federal districts) is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of allowable evidence. This could be expanded by a liberal reading into the rule quite easily.

But that is in the court of law. If a PI finds it, its golden as long as its admissible as evidence or if it can be used as impeachment evidence. No discovery rules apply.

Yeah I don't think Sterling is hiring PI's for courtroom evidence as much as he just wants to enact revenge upon the league.

The purpose of the suit is to expose the hypocrisy of the owners and the commissioner. Literally anything will be game as long as it is relevant to discrimination. This will be a marvelous shite show of epic proportions.

If the tapes had been released and no one gave a shite then there would be no violation of his contract.

So, you think the constitution of the NBA is subject to the whims of public opinion?

If people like what you do, ok. However, if people do not like you do, you are in breach of contract?

Here is question for you.

If DS discovers deeds or statements by other owners in the NBA and those get exposed during a trial, does DS then violate the contract by exposing deeds by others that is harmful to the NBA. lol

This is exactly what Mark Cuban was trying to warn the other owners about. Litigation with Donald Sterling is like mud wrestling a pig. You get all dirty and the pig is just having fun.
