I wanted to support the show, so I bought the HD season pass from Amazon for like $15.00. All episodes are HD and it's much better than that POS Nick.com player. Plus if they make more money through Amazon, then they're more likely to finance another series when it presents itself. They release the episodes at midnight on Friday Pacific time, while Nick.com releases them at noon Eastern time.

First season I absolutely loathed him, but he's grown on me since then. He was just annoying back then, but it seems they got him down to where he needs to be now.

It's pretty fricking solid so far. They keep this up, may be better than the last book. Korra Alone may be my favorite episode next to the Wan flashback.

So with korra getting the avatar state back how is kuvira going to stand a chance against her. At full throttle she will be too powerful for her.

Korra would have to be weakened/tired from fighting off Kuvira's soldiers and fiance. Im thinking Varrick's special weapon has an unexpected side effect on Korra.

New episode was great!!
SPOILERS:
Looks like Varrick unexpectedly grew a conscience. Knew Bolin would never go along with Kuvira once he realized the full extent of what she was doing. Just hope Korra doesnt get brain washed and screw things up.

She's going to do something to stop Su and her sons, there is no doubt about that. In doing so she will then have to take on Kuvira to right the ship.
Varrick's assistant isn't going to turn on him, I think she's using this to get inside to help him out. She has stuck with him through prison and all kinds of stuff. He saved her life a few scenes earlier (which was hilarious).
Asami and her father making up was a good scene as well.
I'm wondering when Mako and Lin come into play and also wondering if Toph will make another appearance especially if she feels her family in danger since she can see everything from the swamp.

Yeah, this season is progressing more quickly than I thought it would. Glad to see that Varrick conscience has actually kicked in, and Zhu Li kicked arse! I'm sure she's still loyal to Varrick, and is playing Kuvira.
But Kuvira has gone into full dictator mode now, and definitely seems to be Maoist.

She's a tyrant and I wish they would show the territories after the fact just to give you more of a sense of how much she's playing the world.
I have been missing Tenzen, Lin, Bumi, and Kya (although she's back at the South Pole so I double we see her).

Kuvira is the Avatar version of Hitler minus the genocide. I feel like she's going to use the super weapon to destroy Zahofu. Not sure if I spelled that right.
Varrick's assistant is certainly lying about betraying Varrick. She's way too loyal.
Don't think Korra will stop the infiltration in time. So some serious shite going to go down next week. Feel like one of the brothers might be killed starting a massive war.
It's going to be World War II Avatar style.

I'm thinking something happens with the spirit weapon that helps korra reconnect with the other avatars. I just don't see this series ending without her reconnecting to them

We finally got a pretty sweet fight scene. I'm not sure how I felt about the robot suits but I love watching Bolin bending

She already reclaimed her avatar state when she fully removed the lead from her body. Is that different from reconnecting with past avatars?
