Cool little article I didn't see posted about watching the World Cup in Baton Rouge.

Welcome back to the Western hemisphere, World Cup.
It’s been 20 years since the world’s most popular sporting event has been on this half of the planet, which means the overwhelming majority of our readers weren’t yet of legal drinking age the last time the trophy was handed out at a reasonable hour.
The last two decades – with tournaments in France South Korea/Japan, Germany, and South Africa – have featured early morning matches local time, outside the traditional hours of most venues.
We’ve made it work in the meantime, but with the tournament back on our side of the planet, we’re getting plenty of afternoon and evening matches, perfect for group watching at your local watering holes.

Red Stick Outlaws watch at The Londoner. I've watched a few games there with the crew. I will be going to Nola for the Portugal game though and watching at Finns. Took off work on Monday so I can enjoy the shite out of that game.

all the places mentioned in the article are pretty good for viewing. The londoner is probably the best though

As do I. I didn't know he was Stewie Griffin until today
I took over Cody's old post at DIG for a few months when he left for Tiger Rag. Had big shoes to fill

I believe that the Londoner should take away all the bar stools from that bar area and make people stand during the games. Make it feel more like a bar then a restaurant. At least I will stand during the games rather than take up a seat, as I am doing in that photo.

Thanks for putting us on your list, I am the one responsible for this video happening...
Pluckers Wing Bar Baton Rouge (Surveillance Camera) (USA v Algeria Donovan Goal)
and this.
Camera #2
(I am not responsible for the awful music in the videos )
Made a lot of good friends during the last World Cup.

Awesome. I've had some pretty epic twitter convo's with Cody. He is one of the only other people who follow LSU basketball.
