How do you get over being hurt and betrayed?

I am just getting out of a relationship with someone that was very manipulative and emotionally cruel. Part of me is just glad to be done with the lies, etc. but the other part of me is really pissed that I was treated that way by someone that supposedly "loved" me.
If you have been through a similar situation, how did you get past the anger and move on with your life?

Have to find a way to forgive and chalk it up to a learning experience. It will make you more cautious next time you get into a relationship. Not easy but doable with time.
