On the corner of Johnston street in the same parking lot of the Grand Theater. No restaraunt has ever had success there but maybe Lafayette will support the Mushroom-def better pizza option than most places in Lafayette.

Yea, they've been working on it for a while. It's been talked about here a handful of times. Should be interesting to see if it survives. A lot of good pizza in lafayette to compete with.

To my knowledge, the owners bought the building/property instead of leasing it like Serranos/Bako's did, which that lease was brutal from what I've heard.

New owners (also own the Metairie location) gutted the place, so that bar area won't be isolated from the rest of the restaurant.

To be safe though, they should have an exorcism...it is definitely cursed....

I think it'll make it though. Right by the movies, right by corner bar and red's.

Deano's was done in more by its location than quality of food. That's why the building they vacated still doesn't have an occupant.

I've only had pizza from 3 places here, Deano's, Pizza Village and Romacelli.

Pizza Village absolutely blows.

What ever happened to Las Palmas? They built there and seemed to be open for an extremely short time. Has anyone taken over that spot yet?

people gravitate to PV because of it's thin crust pizza.

one of the best pizzas I ever had in Laf was at Barracas. They had a true brick oven , perhaps one of the first at the time. Went out of business years ago , Phares now occupies the bldg. on Amb Caff
