What's your favorite television commercial - any time period.

I know that in recent years, there have been a lot of popular ones, mostly first aired during super bowls. But I like some of the old school ones.
- The alka seltzer plop plop fizz fizz one. (and the "I can't believe he ate the whole thing" one is right up there too).
- The Wendy's "where's the beef" one. This one actually found it's way into the political debates.
- Honorable mention to a local commercial - the Seafood City ad with Al Scramuza.

Among current commercials it's the Direct TV ugly wires spot with the son asking if his wires are ugly.

I'm kind of embarrassed to say that my top two are both Volkswagen commercials.
1. The "Take on me" VW ad with the guy singing and drawing in a meeting. It just makes me laugh to this day.
2. Darth Vader kid VW commercial reminds me of my nephew and makes me laugh.

The Apple ad that debuted at Christmas time called "Misunderstood" or something like that. It was clever.

"Chip it out". First time I saw i thought I was going to piss myself I laughed so hard and it was before YouTube so there was no going and watching it again. To this day I laugh my arse off every time I see.

the lite beer commercials with rodney dangerfield & john madden (among others).
forgot the product, but the one where peyton manning mistook peoples' taunts as helpful advice...pretty funny stuff.
and while i got burnt out on 'em eventually, i dug the "bo knows" commercials...
