Bouchon or Fleur were really excellent.

Tried Sage and Julian Serrano last month when in town for a seminar. I thought Serrano better, but did it for lunch. You can stick with apps if you don't want to go too heavy.

Joe's in the Forum. Eat there every time I'm in Vegas.

I'm going to second Julian Serrano it's primarily a tapas place, so lots of small plates, you can eat as much or as little as heavy or as light as you want.

That said, the strip is massive and probably has 50+ restaurants that would fit your bill. Where are you staying? Or where are you planning on being around dinner time? Wouldn't make much sense to go to Julian Serrano if you were staying at Wynn and were going back to change before going out.

I'm staying at the Elara (wedding party rate). WE decided on Fleur. They have some small plates and the menu looked pretty damn good.

Is Firefly still open over behind Wynn? Great tapas place off the strip and lots of f&b types...no tourists at all

My research indicates they closed after a salmonella outbreak.

I know the original location closed, but they opened another larger location off Paradise as well.

I used to hit that original location up all the time after work when I was working at the Hilton. Glad I missed the salmonella. Hahah

Another vote for Julian Serrano. I liked it better than Jaleo for tapas.

Have a great time!

STK at Cosmo was legit. I ate at Carne and was underwhelmed. My $70 steak failed to thrill me.

Las Vegas Strip = New Orleans Bourbon Street. Do some research on local joints and pop for a taxi because it will actually be cheaper.

If you like Jiro Dreams of Sushi at all, and are compelled to try a similar meal, check out Kabuto. One of the best sushi experiences I've ever had.

I know I'm gonna get killed here but for a casual night you should really check out Gordon Ramsay's BurGR in planet Hollywood. Great food in a relaxed setting.

If you want something more upscale I really enjoyed SW Steakhouse (Wynn) and BRAND Steakhouse (Monte Carlo).

Public House

Gastropub in the Venetian. Awesome food and a beer list that will knock you out. No lie.

Just spent a week there and I'm so sick of the prices

Vegas has gotten full of itself.

I second the public house at Venetian. That was a huge hit. Had some craft beer and a killer short rib

All the famous chefs places are tourist traps. Look online and find some hole in the walls
